Our profile

The interdisciplinary post graduate program Integrated Energy Supply Modules for Roadbound E-Mobility (mobilEM) is funded by
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). The overall objective is the investigation of the physical foundations of electro-chemical
energy storage and its combination with novel fuel-operated range extender units.
We offer a 3-year PhD fellowship in an international and interdisciplinary academic network with fellow researchers.

Your profile

- Holder of a university degree (master or equivalent) in natural or materials sciences with above average scores.
- Experience in electrochemical properties of battery materials
- Interest in innovative and interdisciplinary topics.
- High level of responsibility, initiative and team spirit.
- High motivation for conducting a PhD thesis

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities:
- Synthesis of new cathode materials for LiO2-batteries
- Electrical and electrochemical testing
- Analysis of structure-property relationship

What we offer

The successful candidate will be employed as a regular employee.
The position is to be filled 01.10.2019 until to 3 years.
This is a part-time position (50% of the standard weekly hours for full-time employees). It is possible to upgrade the part-time position to 66% of the standard weekly hours for full-time employees.
The successful candidate has the opportunity to pursue a doctoral degree in this position.
The salary corresponds to level EG 13 TV-L.
